About Kings Valley Collies
Kings Valley Collies is a breeding and training facility located on a 160-acre tree farm in the beautiful foothills of the Coast Range, northwest of Corvallis, Oregon. Since 1972, Kings Valley Collies has bred Collies of classic beauty, intelligence and character. Kings Valley Collies share a well deserved international reputation for excellence: In the show ring, on the farm, at home, and in service, our Collies are confident and affectionate companions and trustworthy, capable partners.
Highlights:
- Founded in 1972 by the Rappaport family
- To date, produced 88 breed champions and innumerable working titleholders in both Rough and Smooth coat varieties
- 5 Collie Club of America, CCofA “Breeder of the Year” Awards (Smooths)
- Produced 4 Collies whose outstanding production of champion offspring has earned them the coveted CCof A designation R.O.M. (Register of Merit)
- Held the ‘Top Producing Smooth Collie Dam’ record for nearly 20 years
- Bred and trained the first dual-titled AKC Champion & Versatility Champion
- Author of “Banner, Forward!” the pictorial biography of a Guide Dog. (E.P. Dutton, NY.,1969)

BISS Ch Kings Valley Demuir Here I Am (Cameron), whose mother Ch. Kings Valley Just My Style, HC, TC (Tawny) is one of our most beloved dams, has been named Collie Club of America’s Best of Variety Smooth in 2010. Cameron was also named the CC of A 2010 Best Stud Dog (Smooth).
